Point Vincent Lighthouse, CA
This 67-foot concrete cylindrical lighthouse was built in 1926 and automated in 1971.   Due to the tower's position on a high bluff, the actual height of the lens' focal plane is 185 feet.   It remains an active aid to navigation and the grounds are still used to house Coast Guard personnel.   I have been advised that it is open to the public once a month.   Please contact Kim Castrobran of USCG for further information.
