Port Hueneme Lighthouse, CA |

Much of Port Hueneme is US Navy ground.
The original lighthouse was razed shortly before WW2 and was replaced by this concrete structure.
I have been advised that it is open to the public once a month.
Please contact Kim Castrobran
of USCG for further information. If you cannot make it at the specified time, the
best way to see the lighthouse is to take Ventura Road all the way to the beaches east of USNCBC,
then take a quarter mile walk up the beaches where I took these photos.
