Also known as Erie Light Station, this property was transferred to the City of Erie as a park in 1934.
The light is no longer functional though the building remains on the National Register of Historic Plances.
Tips for travelers, you will not be able to see this lighthouse from E 6th Street.
Best way is to visit Presque Isle lighthouses first. DCNR Pennsylvania Recreational Guide
for Presque Isle State Park (available when entering the State Park or ask for a copy from DCNR
before your trip) includes a map which shows direction to this lighthouse.
